sounds resulting as a side-effect from the preparation of food are the base of a four-movement musical form, unfolding along a cooking-recipe. the tension builds from the preparation of the food, to the proper cooking and the eating to the final whashing of the dishes.
a volunteer from the audience gets vicariously part of that process and is invited to balance on the cutting edge between private every-day-life and public-life on stage.

"kammeressen" is a concert-version of the walkable soundinstallation "tafelmusik I", created in 1998 by the cologne based composers harald muenz and hans w. koch
